Karl Chatterjee

Over twenty years agency recruitment experience covering permanent and contract supply primarily in the information technology and healthcare sectors.

  • Since 2000 until 2017, founder and director of three start-up recruitment agencies based in London Bridge: – Nexere Consulting, Medicare First and TFS Healthcare.
  • Nexere Consulting, established in 1999 as an information technology recruitment agency, has since expanded its reach into other sectors and has served many leading organisations in the UK and overseas. In 2014, it received Best Companies Three Star Accreditation and was named as one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For.

  • Medicare First, established in 2004 is a leading supplier of qualified healthcare staff across the UK. In 2008, it was ranked No.9, in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100, becoming one of Britain’s fastest growing private companies. In 2010, it was a Finalist at the annual Recruiter Awards, under the category Agency of the Year. In 2010 & 2012, it also featured in The Sunday Times 100, Best Small Companies to Work For. In 2012, turnover exceeded £30m and the company was purchased by Capita plc in 2012.
  • TFS Healthcare, established in 2010, is a specialist healthcare agency supplier to the NHS and many private healthcare companies. Amassing a turnover of £33m in 2017, it featured in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100, ranked No.3, and is now a recognised brand across the UK.

Steve Lorde

Over twenty-six years recruitment experience with the last five years working in-house building self-sourcing Talent Acquisition capabilities.

  • GM Financial International Operation / Opel Vauxhall Finance (Europe)  Built in-house TA team to support 13 countries across Europe and the Americas to self-source candidates. Created global approval and recruitment manual. Implemented applicant tracking systems (iRecruitment and iCIMS). Provided monthly BI reporting showing KPIs, costs and savings.
  • Intuit Incorporated (QuickBooks)  Implemented managed service function for Intuit in the UK to source contract resource to support their business growth. Provided monthly BI reporting showing KPIs, costs and savings.

  • Barclays Bank Retail  Managed recruitment function for six UK contact centres and specialist IT function, lead team to fulfil high volume recruitment prior to outsource.
  • IBM Business Consulting Services (BCS)  Source and pre-qualify management consultants for Banking, Financial Services and Insurance recruited 48 FTEs in 12 weeks by conducting two assessment centres.
  • Thales UK  Transition in-house team and develop self-sourcing capabilities to service 47 separate businesses

MISSION STATEMENT

Consult Inhouse provide white-label inhouse recruitment solutions to empower our clients to identify, attract & hire candidates directly to minimise their usage of third-party suppliers, namely recruitment agencies, to reduce external costs, to enhance the company brand, and to ensure any hiring manager or candidate (whether successful or not), has a positive experience and feels they have been treated professionally.

A detailed audit is conducted to identify a client’s historic recruitment methods, recruitment challenges, costs and process failures. A robust customised approval and recruitment process is proposed based on our finding, to meet their current needs and to facilitate future growth. It is this process that offers a consistent cost effective, quality measured recruitment solution that also provides greater control and forward planning.

Our target audience are companies who either do not have a dedicated talent acquisition (TA) function or where their TA function requires re-engineering to meet their business objectives now and in the future.
